A Look Around Before Demolision

Before the excavators arrived, a few former residents of the Village as well as the Google street view camera got a chance to photograph the Village one last time. And what they saw was a heart breaking sight. Weeds and even trees started to overtake the site. Many crawling up the walls and even growing in gutters. The photos below are in no particular order. Some were shot by a former resident who wishes to remain unknown while most are from Google Earth satelite view and street view. Demolision began late 2023.

The project was abandoned and this partually built structure remained for many years. Similar structures were built between the 2nd and 3rd dorms of the Intermediate and Jr. Boys cottages.
